1 – Won the II nd prize for his paper presentation in PG competition paper at IOAMPCON 1996 at Rewa,MP,India on “Fibular grafting in fracture neck femur”.

2 – Deliverd a faculty lecture on “Hand surgery -A different prospective at Ratlam,MP,India in Trauma conference 2003.

3 – Conducted National workshop on “Current concepts in tendon repair surgery of hand”at Indore, MP,India on 4 April 2004.

4 – Delivered a CME lecture in Indian medical association ,Kota branch ,Rajasthan ,india on “Hand Surgery -a different prospective” in june 2005.

5 – Delivered a guest lecture in dec 2004 at National conference of IOA-Agra,UP,India on “Finger tip injuries”.

6 – Delivered a lecture on “Role of Microsurgery in limb reconstruction” in MPORTHOCON 2005 at Bhopal.

7 – Delivered faculty lecture at ROSACON-2007 Seekar ,Rajasthan,India on “Overview of congenital problems of hand”Jan 2007.

10 – Conducted Preconference workshop in MP chapter IOA on Hand surgery at Burhanpur,MP,India 4 Oct 2007 & delivered a talk on “PIP joint fracture dislocation” & conducted “hands on work shop on the models for the tendon repair technique “for the trainee orthopaedic surgeon.

11 – Won the gold medal at MPIOACON ,Gwalior,MP,India for his scientific presentation on “Management of Scaphoid fracture by vascularised bone grafting”.

12 – Delivered faculty lecture at central Zone IOA conference at Raipur,CG,India on 27 oct 2007 on “Geriatric hand problems”.

13 – Delivered a faculty lecture at National conference of Indian Orthopaedic Association IOACON Banglore,India on 6 dec 2008 about “Splintage in Hand Surgery”

14 – Course director for the workshop on Hand trauma by Ahemdabad orthopaedic society 9 jan 2009 at Ahemdabad,Gujrat,India and delivered a talk on “ligamentous injuries of the digits” & “day 1 reconstruction of mutilating injuries of the digits & management of flexor tendon injuries of the hand”.

47 – Was Organizing Secretary of ISSHCON2015-39th Annual conference of Indian Society for the Surgery of the Hand at Indore on 25-27 Sept 2015. First ever in India, a cadaveric course on wrist arthroscopy was conducted in this conference.

Besides that i am delivering lectures on various aspects of hand surgery in monthly clinical meeting of our city Indore orthopaedic club on regular basis.

Since last 8 years delivering lectures for the instructional course for Post Graduate Trainee students conducted at Arihant Hospital & Research Centre Indore,MP,India organised by B. Mukhopadyay foundation on various topics like replantation ,principles of tendon transfer,evaluation of hand injuries etc.

 

Research

 

I have started research in prevention of hand injuries,data compilation is going on & very soon we will be able to publish our paper with recommendation.

One of my post graduate student has done thesis work on management of scaphoid fracture non union by vascularized bone grafting.

 

Social service

 

Dr.Gupta in regularly giving the lectures & teaching the industrial workers for prevention of hand injuries.

He has conducted many free hand surgery at camps at various places to serve the underprivileged society of the population.
